Here is a list of our current projects.
#Goblueday- National foster care awareness day
#GoBlueDay - National Foster Care Awareness Day happens the first Tuesday in May to kick off Foster Care Awareness Month. People from around the world dress up in blue in honor of the kids currently in foster care and to stand in solidarity with all those who have been impacted by the foster care system.
Foster Talks is a new foster care talk series dedicated in finding innovative solutions and ideas in order to improve and fix the foster care system. Every community is different. What works for one state might not work for another as well as, what works for one city in one state will not work for another city in the same state. Foster Talks uses the Ted Talk style model in order to create needed conversation around these issues bringing to light solutions and new ideas.
Thanksgiving With The Fosters
The holidays can be tough, lonely, and depressing for foster youth who are transitioning out of foster care as well as those who have already aged out. Many have no where to go and no one to call family. On Thanksgiving day Project Blue hosts a special dinner for those who don't have a place to go on this holiday and want celebrate with other foster youth in the same situation.
